Honestly, the only way I bleed brakes. The bottle is filled with clean brake fluid and the line is placed below the level of the fluid. It keeps you from sucking up air when bleeding the brakes. I suggest avoiding the high price kits and just make your own.

"Hey throw me a pry bar" these things will get beat up and used daily if you do any work on cars / trucks. Control arms, lining up ball joints, saving your knuckles. Also great to have a 5 ft long piece of steel pipe on hand for the really annoying control arms.

Adjustable Crescent Wrench. Definitely have one of these in your toolbox. Great for random sizes you can't seem to find. Not great to rely on for everything.

Pretty self explanatory. There just are too many variations for me to do separate images for each type. If you have access to air tools, all of these are pretty awesome to have, however you can get by just great with only 2-3 of these.

Regular Ratchet. This is a cheap Craftsmen version, and the non circular handle can be uncomfortable for daily use. Also the low teeth count means it feels rough and sticky on bolts. Avoid these cheap ratchets at all costs.

This is a multimeter. To be more specific it is an analog multimeter, due to the readout being shown by a physical hand (not numbers on the screen). The Multimeter is showing zero resistance (Ohm) reading as the probes are connected together on the Ohm Setting.

A 3/8" Drive Metric Semi Deep Socket Set 6 Point. Yup It is a mouthful, but sockets come in different lengths (shallow, semi deep, and deep) and also in different drives (1/4" 1/2" and 3/8") A well rounded tool box should have ratchets and sockets for each.

Good to know how to describe sockets if someones is asking you specifically for a 12 point socket. Now you will know! The most common one to have, is the 6-point socket. I would say 90 percent of your sockets will be 6 point for most car / truck work.

What do you think this baby is good for? Removing all those pesky holder screws on Honda Brake Rotors (other cars too). If you try to remove them with just a regular phillips head 90% of the time you will strip them. With this tool you wack it with a hammer with the bit installed, and it works it loss using impact. Never strip another stupid rotor set screw again. Great for final tightening on phillips head or flat screws as well. A MUST HAVE TOOL for anyone doing brake jobs. This is the best thing to happen to me since sliced bread. Buy yourself an impact driver for construction type stuff (bit driver) and grab a set of driver bits (1/4" 1/2" 3/8") now you can zip bolts and nuts off instantly and so fast. If they're tight just break them loose by hand first then zip them off. Literally, pretty much all mechanics I know (even those with air tools) are using these more and more, since they're so versatile and fast compared to air tools. Not saying they replace air tools, just a cheap way to speed up repairs and save your hands.

Can compete with most large air impact drivers, however air is preferred in most circumstances if being mobile isn't a concern (faster, quieter, and more torque usually).

Solder gun, solder, and solder removing tool. Sponge for cleaning the tip, and case for holding everything. Definitely a must have for anyone doing any electrical repairs. Skip the butt connectors and junk that will for sure cause you problems down the line. I solder everything now!

Heat shrink tubing. A MUST HAVE, for all electrical repairs. I used to use butt connectors, and now I never will again. Get yourself a soldering gun, some good solder, and learn how to solder correctly. Then get some heat shrink, wire strippers, and you're set for all electrical repairs. PRO TIP: add silicon grease (or dielectric grease) to the soldered wires (assuming you're soldering two wires together) then slip over the heat shrink tubing, and apply heat like you normally would. The dielectric grease will ooze out of the heat shrink and make a moisture free zone for the wires.
